Our physicians and expert health educators can assist patients in making a decision that best fits them by offering brochures and the most up to date information. Cautious and consistent use of a recommended birth control method will help prevent an unplanned pregnancy. With so many methods accessible and so many factors to contemplate, choosing one can be difficult. Our staff can help you decide on what method is best for you.

We offer the following options for birth control:
• Oral Contraceptives (Birth Control Pills)
Depo Provera Injection
• Vaginal Ring (Nuva Ring)
Intrauterine Device (IUD)
• Diaphragm and Cervical Cap
• Condoms and Spermicides

AAnchor Health Center also offers Emergency Contraception, a pill taken to prevent a pregnancy after unprotected sex or when a form of contraception fails. Emergency Contraception should be taken within 72 hours (3 days) of the encounter of unprotected sex or failed contraception. This product should only be taken if you don’t want to become pregnant, it will not work for patients who are already pregnant.
